My good friend and other dad, Tim, said good-bye to me yesterday with the reminder that I'm bringing him with me to Arizona. I am bringing Tim, as well, it seems, as half the state of New York, through email, this blog, and what is sure to be a very large Verizon bill. I'll chronicle the drive west here and invite you to check in regularly as I take you to Arizona between now and the beginning of February.
